Nikki Reed is all about biodegradable mass. Her fashion brand, Bayou With Love has the image of one of the most environmentally friendly clothing brands out there. Recycled cloth, wastes, and metals repurposed to create the cutest acro range and accessories. Wife, mommy, actress, model, and entrepreneur, Nikki has got it all figured out. The woman is a total inspiration and an all-rounder! So, it is no surprise that her brand is getting the recognition it deserves in the world today. While most brands are damaging our planet irreversibly, brands like hers can save us all. Vogue Magazine features Nikki Reed’s Bayou With Love in their latest issue! They talk about how normal sportswear is damaging to our environment.

The majority of leggings and sports bras on the market are made of virgin polyester, which, for the uninitiated, is plastic; it’s derived from petroleum (i.e. oil) and is typically treated with chemical dyes…. To make matters worse, we’ve come to view our workout clothes as a form of fast fashion: We buy them frequently and don’t keep them for very long.

Vogue Magazine names Nikki Reed’s brand as one of the ‘Three Sustainable Active Wear Brands to Consider this Memorial Day Weekend‘. They ask the Twilight Saga actress what she wants to bring with her brand.

I wanted to bring [my community] products with a meaningful story that they’re proud to wear because I think once you give people ownership and the power to make decisions that have an impact, they feel like they’re a part of something bigger than themselves. And at the end of the day, I think that’s what being a human being is all about.

Nikki Reed thanks Vogue for featuring her brand on their website!
