Jesse Eisenberg Talks About Justice League Snyder Cut
Lex Luthor has spoken.
The Snyder Cut of Justice League is finally here! It was the version of Justice League shot by Zack Snyder before he left the production. After a lot of public pressure through the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut campaign, Warner Bros have finally caved into the pressure. And here’s what Jesse Eisenberg has to say about it!
Jesse Eisenberg opens up about the Snyder Cut
While talking to Digital Spy, Eisenberg expresses his opinion about the Snyder Cut. He said that he was “so happy” and commended Snyder of his “vision”. He expressed his excitement in this way:
“Yeah [I’m excited], because I’m friends with Zack. I’m so happy for him that he gets to release something he’s proud of. I mean, I can’t think of any other precedent in history where there was something of this scope. Because it’s not just about releasing the movie, but it required all of this… we call it post-production.
Eisenberg then further explains the post-production process it took to bring the Snyder Cut to life:
So it’s not just they’re releasing scenes that are finished, they had to do a lot of post-production and it’s such a big process.
Moreover, Jesse Eisenberg further commented on Zack Snyder’s vision:
And yeah, I’m so happy for him. He’s a great guy with a very, very specific vision and so, yes, I’m happy that he gets that. And he seemed really happy.
He wants to have a go at Lex Luthor again!
Previously, Jesse Eisenberg expressed his wish to play the infamous villain again in the franchise. However, he wasn’t sure of DC’s vision for now. He said in the interview:
I don’t even know if they know what they’re doing with the movies, but for me it was exhilarating… I would love to play that role forever.
We know that the DC Universe has been a mess for a while now. However, the Snyder Cut could give the franchise a much-needed boost. Moreover, if DC is able to steady its ship, it will give Jesse Eisenberg a chance to impose a greater impact on the DC Universe.
