Khloe Kardashian & Tristan Thompson Threaten Legal Action
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson aren’t to be messed with! The two ordered a cease and desist letter for a woman who claimed Tristan was the father of her child. Yikes! Kimberly Alexander received a letter that asked her to “immediately stop defaming them with malicious defamatory lies and specious fabrications.” This was done by the former couple’s attorney, Marty Singer.
How Did It All Start?
Alleged paperwork from LB Genetics was published by a Tabloid site. It suggested that Tristan had taken a paternity test in January 2020. And it also includes screenshots of alleged texts between Tristan and Kimberly. As well as email copies Kimberly received from her former attorney.
However, E! News obtained the cease and desist letter in which Khloe and Tristan’s lawyer confirmed that he took a paternity test. But it was noted that the test came out negative. So Kimberly asked Tristan to take it again. The NBA star agreed. But only if it was performed by an AABB-accredited lab.
What Khloe And Tristan Said In The Cease And Desist Letter?
Khloe and Tristan went on to ask Kimberly to stop spreading lies and defaming Tristan. “After it was indisputably established by a paternity test performed by one of the most reputable labs that Mr. Thompson is not your child’s father. We thought that would be the end of this. Instead, you have continued to spread outrageous lies about my clients. Including ridiculous fictional conspiracy theories that you conjured up claiming that my clients supposedly somehow falsified the paternity test results. Since members of the Kardashian family had previously used the same trustworthy lab,” the letter said.
It goes on to state that the reason Kimberly is spreading her lies is that she wants her moment in the spotlight. However, Singer made it clear Khloe and Tristan would not tolerate this sort of behavior. He also added that it is defamatory to falsely state that Khloe and Tristan faked the paternity test.
Kimberly Alexander told E! News in response to the letter, “I feel like the whole issue originally stemmed from Tristan. And him not wanting to choose a neutral setting for DNA testing. And using a Kardashian associated DNA Testing facility. I feel as if you really have nothing to hide then why not just go to a neutral testing site.”
