Jake Gyllenhaal Sings A Love Song

The title of Jake Gyllenhaal’s love song is Across The Way. Gyllenhaal posted the song on social media. Putting up the following caption, he wrote:

“A love song in the age of quarantine, this is ‘ACROSS THE WAY’ from the brilliant minds of @jeaninetesori and @lindsayabaire. Written and recorded in 24 hours for the @24hourplays, it was an honor to collaborate with these two from across the way!”

The sweet lyrics of the song talk about a guy meeting someone who lives across his street during the pandemic lockdown. And as the days go by, Jake Gyllenhaal’s love song proceeds to count them and tell their activities. The first few lyrics of his sweet song goes by:

“Another day in lockdown as panic grips the nation. Another day in quarantine and utter isolation. Thank God I have a window, Thank God I have a view. Across the street’s another window and in that window is you!

Day 21 I noticed you, you played the clairenet. Day 24 you sort of waved and that was how we met”

This almost half-past-four minute song was written and recorded within 24 hours, Billboard writes. This endeavor was launched in March as part to battle the coronavirus lockdown. It has featured many other actors included David Cross, Rachel Dratch, and Patrick Wilson. You guys can check out Jake Gyllenhaal’s love song below:
