Vanessa Bryant discovers love letter from Kobe Bryant
Late Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, turned 38 a few days back on May 5. And she found a secret gift from her late husband. Vanessa posted on her Instagram, claiming that she had found the last letter, in fact, the last message from her dead husband, just a night before her birthday. Her husband, Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash on January 26. And their daughter, Gianna Bryant too suffered from the crash and passed away with seven others abroad the plane.
Kobe Bryant’s letter to his wife
The mother of four made the announcement on the afternoon of her birthday. She said:
“Yesterday I found an envelope labeled To: The Love of my Life. From, Tu Papi ❤️I waited to open one more letter on my birthday. It gave me something to look forward to today❤️. The irony is that Kobe had a photo of me drawn with an Angel holding me up by an artist on the cover.”
She continued, “Missing the Love of my Life and my sweet little Mamacita- my fellow Taurus (Gianna). Grateful to wake up to my 3 sweet girls today. Wish we were all together.”
Vanessa also recently celebrated her nineteenth wedding anniversary with Kobe Bryant. She posted a heartfelt post saying how much she misses the former NBA star and loves him. And wishes he was still here by her side and holding her in his arms.
Vanessa’s life after Kobe’s death
Vanessa posted on January 29 that she was completely devastated by the sudden demise of her husband and daughter. She said how difficult it has been since they’ve been gone. But she says she’s doing everything in her power to stay positive and not let grief shatter her or her family further.
She frequently takes to social media and posts photos and videos of her life and her daughters Natalia, 17, Bianka, 3, and Capri, 10 months. Since the accident, Vanessa has filed a lawsuit against the helicopter company and the pilot of the helicopter. And the case is ongoing as we speak.
