Star Wars’ Luke Skywalker, Mark Hamill to act in FX’s What We Do in the Shadows. Earlier, What We Do in the Shadows creator Jemaine Clement revealed that Star Wars actor Mark Hamill would guest-star in season 2. The character, however, was not disclosed. It is now revealed that Hamill portrays an ancient bloodsucker in an episode called “On the Run”.
Mark Hamill Cameo Appearance In What We Do In The Shadows Season 2
A 10-episodic second season of FX’s comical horror What we do in the shadows debuted on April 15, 2020. Along with the main and recurring cast, some iconic guest stars join the second season of the series. Mark Hamill is one of them.
This episodic guest vampire, in fact, recently performed in Disney’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker which nearly collects $1 billion at the global box office this weekend.
Mark Hamill himself is an ardent fan of all genres of What We Do in the Shadows (both the film and the FX series ). The vocal Batman, thus, commented on this opportunity:
“The whole cast is one of the best ensembles in television history. I would’ve been happy just visiting the set, they certainly didn’t need me to come in and mess it up somehow. But I thought I would check out the script and see what they had in mind. I expected the role to be like the next-door neighbor or someone who works at the Department of Motor Vehicles. When I read I was going to play a vampire, I just about shot out of my chair. What a great honor!”
The Vampire’s Debt
As a matter of fact, Mark Hamill’s character will be seen alongside Berry. The Chuck villain, Hamill, is an ancient bloodsucker in the episode “On the Run”. Mark Hamill owed some money from the vampire Laszlo. A character played by Matt Berry.
The episodic twists, certainly, become interesting when Laszlo isn’t able to repay his old vampire friend and hide to protect himself. Berry displays all his talent while acting in the series. Hamil, thus, impressed by berry’s character commented
“Each line he said was more obscene and profane than the next, Mark Hamill the actor found that hilarious but my character does not. I had to work really hard to try and stay in character the best I could
