Michelle Obama’s Amazing Transformation
A look into how the former First Lady of US transformed over the years.
The former First Lady Michelle Obama might be one of the most influential women now but wasn’t always like this. The star of Netflix’s documentary Becoming had rather humble beginnings. Here’s a look at Obama’s stunning transformation over the years.
As a former Ivy-League graduate and a First Lady, she has used her influence to try and make a change in society. She has been talking and fighting for issues like women’s rights, education, equality, gun control, and wellness.
One reason why Michelle feels the pain of the general public is because she has had a very simple brought up. Way before this celebrity had Versace and Gucci on speed dial, Obama grew up in a very simple household. Michelle Obama’s father was a city pump operator and her mother was a homemaker. The family was living in tight quarters within a bungalow with other relatives and Michelle thinks that small space has been a source of motivation for her.
Everything that I think about and do is shaped around the life I was living in that small apartment. And, my father worked so hard to provide that for us.
Soon after graduating from Harvard, she landed a job as Junior Associate in a Chicago law firm. There, she was in charge of mentoring a 26-year-old summer intern. This young black man was the love of her life and future husband Barack Obama. The Obamas married in 1992 and have had a very successful marriage ever since. They share two beautiful daughters Malia Ann and Sasha.
