Tom Selleck shares ‘Blue Bloods’ may continue for a long time
Seventy-five-year-old actor, Tom Selleck is so happy with his cast in Blue Blood. And he has been all praises for them. Selleck thinks the show, Blue Bloods, has a good future because its fans are so invested in the show characters.
Speaking to People, the actor did not hold back his thoughts and commented right away about the future of the show. And fans will be happy to hear his response:
“I don’t think there is an endpoint.”
CBS’s hit TV show wraps up its tenth season. The family drama series is based on a family dealing with procedural laws over generations. The show is set in New York City.
Selleck further explained that even though the show had started being focused on one character. But over time it has evolved into something much deeper. He continued to say:
“The Audience is really inside the main characters’ heads.”
All praises for his cast members of Blue Bloods
The actor also spoke highly of his cast members. And said that they are so easy to work with. Unlike other actors who he has worked with before. This cast and crew are very friendly and drama free.
The former Magnum PI actor says he loves all his cast members namely Bridget Moynahan, Donnie Wahlberg, and Will Estes. He cherishes the dinner scenes they shoot. And Selleck says it is like real friends having fun on the dining table. In his exact words,
“are like a reunion of friends. Sometimes it’s hard for the directors to get us to concentrate. We do the work, and we do it well, but we’re also screwing around and kidding each other and catching up. What we have is truly a blessing.”
The show made a hundred episode landmark back in 2015. And other actors from the show like Wahlberg say that they can’t wait to reach the two hundredth mark.
