Emma Stone Talks About Mental Health During Social Distancing
While most of us have restricted to our homes to practice social distancing amidst quarantine lockdown, let’s not forget something important. Mental Health Awareness Month has begun and with it, Emma Stone has come forward to take charge. She is supporting a digital initiative that is helping those struggling with anxiety and isolation from staying at home because of the ongoing pandemic. She has partnered up with The Child Mind Institute to lead a digital campaign #WeThriveInside and the campaign’s start coincides with the awareness month’s start.
Emma Stone Is Fighting Mental Health Disorders
The Child Mind is going big with its campaign over mental stress and health. Apart from teaming up with Emma Stone, they are also working with Margot Robbie, Andrew Garfield, and Misty Copeland. These stars will serve as an empowering and timely response to the challenges American families and children are facing during the global viral outbreak.
For this Emma Stone uploaded a video to talk about mental health. Moreover, hers would only be one of several that are to come during the whole campaign. The Institute will premiere homemade videos from a handful of celebrities. They will share personal anecdotes of how they are keeping themselves mentally fit and healthy while staying at home. For Stone, she is the Institute’s board member and also helped kick-off the campaign, from its several social media channels. Take a look at her message:
Emma Stone has got things figured out for her mental health. While staying at home, she has been meditating, dancing, reading new books, and journaling to keep herself occupied. She practices, what she is calling it, ‘brain dump’ where she keeps on writing everything down. Stone writes, writes, and writes about everything that is troubling her without reading it later. She finds it comfortable to get things out of her mind and onto paper.
