Jada Pinkett Smith Says She Doesn’t Know Will Smith At All!
After meeting at the auditions of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith got married. Despite being married for the last 23 years, Jada has realized that she does not know her husband at all.
Although they could not get together on the show, Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith became a real-life couple
In order to audition for Will Smith’s girlfriend’s character on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Jada Pinkett Smith came to the sets. However, she did not get the role due to her short height. Instead, she met her future husband. Although their first meeting was magical, the pair could not get together because Will Smith was married to someone else. However, he wooed Pinkett after his divorce and they began dating shortly after. In 1997, the pair got married and welcomed their first child the next year. Throughout their marriage, they have been open about their ups and downs. Despite many rumors, the pair are going strong and honest about their relationship. A couple of years ago, Jada Pinkett Smith invited Smith’s ex-wife, Sheree Zampino, to her talk show, Red Table Talk. Both women talked about their complicated relationship and came clean.
Recently, she discovered that she might not know Will Smith at all after 23 years of marriage
During her recent episode of Red Table Talk, Jada Pinkett Smith shared her experience of quarantine. While talking about it, she said:
“I gotta be honest. I think one of the things that I’ve realized is that I don’t know Will at all. And I feel like there’s a layer that you get to, life gets busy and you create these stories in your head, and then you hold onto these stories and that is your idea of your partner; that’s not who your partner is.”
On the episode, her daughter, Willow, and her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, joined Jada Pinkett Smith. Furthermore, she said:
“Will and I are in the process of him taking the time to learn to love himself, me taking the time to learn to love myself and us building a friendship along the way. Let me tell you, that’s been something, to be married to somebody 20-some odd years and realize I don’t know you and you don’t know me and also realizing there’s an aspect of yourself you don’t know either.”
