When is America’s Got Talent Returning with a New Season?
It's sooner than we expected!
The entertainment industry can play a major role in helping people through quarantine. Yes, production on the upcoming movies and TV shows is on hold currently. However, there’s so much that could be done to get around the obstacles. And it turns out that famous America’s Got Talent Judges are ready to return with a new AGT season on Tuesday, May 26!
AGT Season 15 Affected by COVID-19!
AGT, like almost every other show (whether fictional or reality), has been impacted by the ongoing pandemic. The show is known for its flashy setting, where the audience helps judges in assessing the performers on the stage.
But it will be a long time before such an atmosphere can be brought back. We already know that filming for America’s Got Talent Season 15 auditions took place before the production was put on hold. However, the performers are being given yet another chance now, thanks to an interesting change in the show’s format due to coronavirus.
The show recently decided to reopen the auditions and allow people to submit their videos online. The judges will then go through the submitted clips remotely.
So, if you missed the auditions earlier this year, now is your chance to get under the spotlight.
In a promotional clip retrieved by Entertainment Weekly, judge Simon Cowell talks about the uniqueness of the upcoming season. He said:
We’ve never done this before. We’re at home doing this, so I love trying things for the first time.
