Have you ever seen a movie and went; “what the hell just happened there?”. Well, this is exactly what happened to most of us when we watched these. Here’s a list of top 5 mind-bending movies that you have to watch more than once to understand.
5. Inception (2010)
Christopher Nolan’s (Interstellar) collaboration with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio will keep you glued to the screen in 2010’s Inception movie. Leonardo DiCaprio and his team are hired to infiltrate the competition’s dream and use that to sow a seed in their mind. Its ending will keep you guessing. You might have to watch Inception a couple of times to grasp the idea.
4. Donnie Darko (2001)
Donnie Darko is one of the most mind-bending and famous Jake Gyllenhaal movies to date. Director Richard Kelly’s creation explores the concepts of wormholes, alternate time-lines, and hypnosis. When you watch Jake Gyllenhaal’s Donnie Darko, you’ll ask yourself: Did that actually happen or not?

The story revolves around a young boy who has the ability to see dead people. Die Hard actor Bruce Willis plays the role of a psychologist who is trying to help the kid. A group of young scientists create a time travel machine by a fluke in Primer movie. However, the rules of time-travel are quite sophisticated and the paradoxes don’t allow them complete liberty to travel back and forth in time. Hollywood’s adaptation of Robert Heinlein’s 1959 short story “All You Zombies”, will send your mind to places it’s never been before. Ethan Hawke is part of an elite Temporal Agents who time travel and try to prevent horrible crimes by manipulating the past.
It sounds like Loopers to some extent but you’ll be amazed to find out what actually happened once you watch Predestination a couple of times. Here’s a tiny spoiler and a hint, just in case. Ethan is everywhere in the movie.
