James Corden Checks in with Michael Bublé and Josh Groban Amid Pandemic
In order to protect each other but still be connected during coronavirus pandemic, James Corden has introduced a new term. While physically distancing, he checked in on his friends, Josh Groban and Michael Bublé.
Although James Corden is famous for his show, Gavin and Stacey, his career began with the stage
At the age of 18, he appeared in a stage musical, Martin Guerre. However, it was a British TV show, Fat Friends, which created more opportunities for James Corden. He starred in the show for five seasons. In 2004, Corden starred in the original stage production of Alan Bennett, The History Boys, which later was turned into a film. However, it was Gavin and Stacey which brought global recognition for him. Not only did he starred in the show as Neil Smith, but James Corden also co-wrote the show. It was this show that won him his first BAFTA. Since 2015, Corden has been hosting The Late Late Show where he succeeded Craig Ferguson. The segment Carpool Karaoke is a big hit among his fans.
Recently, he checked in on his friends Michael Bublé and Josh Groban
Since coronavirus pandemic hit the world, James Corden has also been doing shows from home. During the latest episode of The Late Late Show, he introduced a new tech device that helps you to be socially close but physically distant. According to James Corden, the device connects with a secret hidden camera in your friends’ house when you spin the wheel. This way, you can check in on them. Therefore, Corden decided to check in on his celebrity friends like Michael Bublé, Josh Groban, and Whitney Cummings. Through the secret camera, we saw Josh Groban dressed up as a banana and singing John Lennon’s song, Jealous Guy. Shortly after, he gets a phone call and walks away from the screen. Next up was Whitney Cummings, who slid down the stair in a make-shift blanket sled. After that, it was Michael Bublé and his wife are seen arguing over what to watch on Netflix. While he wants to watch Tiger King, his wife insists on Love Is Blind. Other options on the spin wheel included Lady Gaga and Melissa McCarthy.
While we did not get to see into Lady Gaga’s house, we hope James Corden takes us there next time.
