Millie Bobby Brown Enters Hollywood

Two years back, Millie Bobby Brown attended the British Academy of Film and Television Arts tea in Los Angeles. And despite being only 12 years of age, she was the sensation of the party. Stranger Things had just become an absolute hit on television. Her character, Eleven in the clever, supernatural homage to 1980s pop culture was an ultimate favorite. To top it off, Millie Bobby Brown was a charming bubbly girl in reality. And had a naturally gifted talent of socializing well. The young actress knew how to develop an impression and was full of positivity for herself. In fact, at the event, she led her teenage male costars in a nonstop Millie Bobby Brown parade. In the most cheerfully possible way, Millie Bobby Brown introduced herself to everyone she could.

At that time, Millie Bobby Brown was hoping that she would meet her crush, Leonardo DiCaprio at the event. But unfortunately, he was not present. However, she got to know many other celebrities. And undoubtedly, almost everyone there was a fan of Stranger Things. Especially, her character Eleven who was a possibly alien, androgynous girl with telekinetic abilities and a diabolical stare. Although she earned a lot of appreciation that evening, Millie was not amused. She knew that the future was hers to capture.

Millie recalled that ever since she got her first job, she knew that she was made to do this. She has given everything to her acting. In fact, her entire family moved from England to settle in Atlanta where Stranger Things was filmed. As she started shooting the third season, she even got a Netflix deal for almost $3 million.

What Makes Millie Bobby Brown So Lovable?

Millie Bobby Brown is no different than the rest of us. Or any regular teenager for that matter. The girl is inseparable from her phone. And with that huge a social media following, why wouldn’t she be? Millie has almost 17 million followers on Instagram. And she regularly updates them through her social media.

Millie Bobby Brown knows that she has some power over many. And more importantly, she uses it well. Like a lot many other personalities, Millie  is using her celebrity status to draw attention to issues that need focus. When she won the award for the favorite TV actress at the Kids’ Choice Awards in March, Millie wore a denim shirt with names of the victims of Florida School Shootings embroidered on the back. She commented saying that she takes her responsibilities seriously. She understands that she has a voice. And she is determined to use it wisely.

Despite achieving a lot in life, Millie Bobby Brown is sure that she has not changed. After the premiere of Stranger Things, she got famous overnight. She was nominated for awards, requested by magazines, and signed a contract with Calvin Klein. Time Magazine chose for her for Time 100, and she became the youngest person to receive that honor. But even then, she stayed the same. She admitted that she still gets nervous, and anxious. She has her girl and guy crushes just like the rest of us. In fact, maybe even more extreme. She even almost fainted when she met Justin Timberlake.

Somebody so incredibly talented, inspiring and beautiful surely should win at Emmys 2018. Shouldn’t they? At least, we know who we are rooting for!
