Big News for Parks and Recreation Fans

When Leslie Knope made her debut on our TV screens in 2009, no one expected to fall in love with her
Created by Michael Schur and Greg Daniels, this mockumentary sitcom is a political satire. While the story revolves around the parks department of Pawnee, it also focuses on the lives of quirky workers. Mainly, it focuses on the mid-level bureaucrat, Leslie Knope. Despite being passionate about her job, Leslie frequently lands in trouble. Apart from her, there is an ensemble of interesting and obnoxious characters. Among them are Leslie’s boss, Ron, her friend and nurse, Ann Perkins, and goofy dim-wit, Andy Dwyer. While the story of Parks and Recreation keeps the audiences captivated, it also introduced many talented actors. Although people were familiar with many of them, the show brought them into the spotlight. It was after this show that the world saw Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaza, and Nick Offerman as the Hollywood stars. Recently, the news of Parks and Recreation coronavirus episode came out and it seems that the rumors were true.

While talking about Parks and Recreation coronavirus episode, Michael Schur said:
“Like a lot of other people, we were looking for ways to help, and felt that bringing these characters back for a night could raise some money. I sent a hopeful email to the cast and they all got back to me within 45 minutes. Our old Parks and Rec team has put together one more 30-minute slice of (quarantined) Pawnee life and we hope everyone enjoys it. And donates!”
