Rachel McAdams Talks About Her Son

Celebs usually prefer to remain tight lipped about their families, especially their kids. Whether it’s either to protect them from the media or to give them as normal a life as possible. And Rachel McAdams is one of them.

The Canadian actress is known for not discussing her family in the public. Which is why it’s hard to get anything out of her. And why the media does not know much about her family.

However, she recently opened up about motherhood and spending time with her son. During a virtual conversation on Canada’s Heroes of Health: Covid-19 Stream-a-Thon, Rachel couldn’t help but talk about her son. “I have a very welcome distraction through my son. He’s so entertaining,” she said.

Although Rachel McAdams does wonder whether she’d be better off alone in this quarantine, she know she would be so bored without him around “to make it fun.” She also shared that just getting some fresh air with her 2-year-old is something they both look forward to as they practice social distancing at home.

The actress revealed that they live out in the country so there’s a farm down the road they like to go to. They like to look at the animals while Rachel likes to do a bit of planting. She revealed her son likes to snack all day long.

What Do We Know About Rachel McAdams’ Family Life?

Ever since Rachel McAdams and boyfriend, Jamie Linden welcomed a son in April 2018, they have pretty much kept their family life private. Only in November 2018 did Rachel give a glimpse into motherhood.

“It’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me, hands down,” she told the Sunday Times.” People say your life is not your own any more. But I had 39 years of me. I was sick of me. I was so happy to put the focus on some other person.”
