Love Island show narrator, Iain and show host, Laura are recently engaged to be married. The brand new couple flew to South Africa to film 2020 Winter Love Island. There Iain popped the big question and she said yes! Iain designed the engagement ring himself. Several speculations arose when Laura was seen outside wearing her yellow engagement ring. Comedian Iain, 32 and Irish TV host Laura, 34 informed their family and friends about the big news this month.

According to The Sun, a friend happy for the couple said:

“They couldn’t be happier. We’re thrilled for them.”

Although the couples’ rep refused to comment on the big news, their friends are thrilled for them. Another friend commented that Iain had Laura’s favorite color in mind for sure while designing the ring because yellow is her favorite color.

The friend said:

“He’d obviously thought about it for a while, as he designed the ring and yellow’s her favorite color. Their wedding plans are on hold due to the lock down but it’s lovely to have a wedding to come.”

How the couple met

The couple first started dating in 2016. And on this trip to South Africa, they’ve been enjoying cozy lunches and thrill rides along the African safari.

Iain once spoke to Chris Ramsey and admitted Laura was just like him but better. Iain’s exact words to Chris were:

‘‘I’ve got someone who’s like me, but much, much better. And Laura’s got someone who’s like her, but much worse. I’ve done well out of it, but I’m dead happy because she’s lovely and stuff.’’

Iain Sterling and Laura Whitmore is one of showbiz’s most loved-up couples. And we wish them a happy future ahead filled with more adventures and cozy dinners!
