Sandra Bullock donates 6000 masks for doctors

All the celebrities might be stuck with their families inside their homes, however, they are not ignoring the global crisis. Many celebrities have come forward and joined hands with various organizations that are fighting against coronavirus pandemic. While some are helping to feed the world, others are arranging protective equipment as well as financial support. And that’s why, Miss Congeniality Sandra Bullock has also come forward with her family and donated 6000 masks for doctors.

The world is facing a huge trauma these days. And the US is facing worst conditions. Even though the virus did not really start in America, however, it has become the epicenter of the outbreak. Due to rapidly increasing number of patients, medical workers, nurses and doctors are struggling to counteract the spread of the virus. And due to this, they are facing shortage of the necessary medical supplies to prevent themselves. Therefore, this support of 6000 masks from Sandra Bullock will help in saving many lives.

Currently, 759,786 cases are confirmed in the US, and about 3.8 million tests have been conducted to filter out the positive cases. Sandra’s support comes at a tough time and we hope more celebrities will come forward.

Sandra Bullock’s partner/boyfriend Bryan Randall shared the donation news on his Instagram handle. He also confirmed that the “kids” wanted to give masks. So the donation comes from the whole family.

Other celebrities

Other than Sandra Bullock, Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camilla have also donated 80,000 masks for the medical workers. Sandra’s donation might seem small when compared to Matthew’s donation. However, at times like these, every single donation counts.

Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Mr. Beast, Meghan Markle & Prince Harry, Pink and many other celebrities have contributed to support the pandemic relief efforts.
