Vanessa Bryant Calls Kobey ‘My King, My Heart’ On Anniversary Day
It is going to be almost three months now after the tragic helicopter crash involving Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna. However, just one week before their three month death anniversary, a wife mourns for her husband on their wedding anniversary. On April 18 Vanessa Bryant remembers her man, Kobe, sharing a throwback picture of both of them. Cuddling in his lap and arms, Kobe gives a kiss to her cheek and she smiles wide in an embrace in the picture. “I love you”, Vanessa tells Kobe who left her and their family on January 26 of this year.
Vanessa Bryant Misses Kobe
On her Instagram post where she put up the sweet memory of her and Kobe Bryant, Vanessa Bryant wrote the caption:
“My king, my heart, my best friend. Happy 19th wedding anniversary baby. I miss you so much, I wish you were here to hold me in your arms. I love you.”
The couple met in 1999 on a music video shoot while Vanessa was still in high school. Back then Kobe Bryant was only 20 years old, this is a story he has told publicly a number of times. It was in April 2001 when they decided to marry, a ceremony they held in Dana Point, California. Since then they had been living happily together, raising four daughters, Gianna, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri. Unfortunately, the world-famous NBA star was traveling to Gianna’s school event when the helicopter malfunctioned over Los Angeles.
Apart from the two losing their life, we should not forget other victims. They include Payton Chester (13), Sarah Chester (45), Alyssa Altobelli (14), Keri Altobelli (46), John Altobelli (56), Christina Mauser (38) and the helicopter pilot Ara Zobayan.
Bryant’s Instagram page is flooded with tributes to the Laker’s legend, all of whom remember how much great a player and a person he was. Kobe Bryant was 41 years old when he died.
