Kiss The Ground Documentary – Ian Somerhalder Talks
Ian Somerhalder just lost a huge project. Netflix canceled V Wars. But, Ian says it is not over yet. He is going to bring the show back as he is not ready to give up on Dr. Luther Swann. However, due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus (SARS-CoV2) Pandemic, things are all over the place these days. With lockdowns all over the world, there is not much we can do in these days. But, V Wars canceling is not the only project of Ian’s affected during this month. His Documentary Kiss The Ground also suffered a setback. The Documentary was supposed to premiere in the New York Tribeca Film Festival. So Ian lets it out and talks to his fans about it.
What is Ian Somerhalder’s Kiss the Ground about?
As you all may know, Ian Somerhalder is quite the environmentalist. He has his foundation, the ISF, dedicated to taking necessary measures in preserving the climate for the ages to come. Kiss The Ground is originally a non-profit organization that does the same. They help people realize the importance of soil regeneration.
The Documentary Kiss The Ground is also about that. IMDb describes the documentary as the story of,
A revolutionary group of activists, scientists, farmers, and politicians band together in a global movement of “Regenerative Agriculture” that could balance our climate, replenish our vast water supplies, and feed the world. So, it is basically all about the ways farmers can help the environment by modifying their ways.
Ian Somerhalder talks about the Documentary
So, Ian obviously holds the Kiss The Ground documentary close to his heart. He sits in his Airstream Trailer and talks about the documentary. He also discusses the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day. In the caption, he ends it on a positive note for the Earth and its environment healing.
Our planet is healing though (even as we reset and suffer) and we now see what large-scale efforts can do to our help make our world healthy and thrive. Our planet and its soil is the source of our immunity and if we heal the planet-the air land and sea- it will heal us. This I can promise. Stay safe out there everyone. I miss you…
