The Hemsworth brothers are pretty popular in Hollywood. But besides being good actors, the brothers have each other’s back. Chris Hemsworth proved that as he appeared to address his brother, Liam Hemsworth’s divorce with singer, Miley Cyrus.

Chris Hemsworth’s New Interview

News.com.au managed to get Chris Hemsworth on call with them this week via Zoom to talk about his new Netflix film called ‘Extraction.’ It’s no secret the Hemsworth brothers‘ fitness has been well speculated about. But now, it seems like Liam may be the fittest of the trio. When asked if Liam had become the fittest Hemsworth, Chris answered, “I think he’s done it. Did you see the Men’s Health cover? I thought, ‘Not bad kid. Not bad’.

Upon explaining how Liam could’ve surpassed his older brother, Chris credited it to Liam’s recent move to Australia. “He’s out there training and staying fit and back in Australia doing his thing,” he said. “It’s Australian living, I guess. We got him out of Malibu!”

Liam And Miley’s History

Prior to the split, Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cryus lived in Malibu. They had moved there in 2016 after rekindling their 2009 romance that had abruptly ended in 2013. Their place of residence also inspired Miley to write a hit single in 2017 called, ‘Malibu’ about finding love again with Liam. After filing for divorce in 2019, Liam decided to move back to Australia.

Chris Hemsworth subtle dig at getting him out of Malibu got a round of laughter from the ‘Extraction’ director, Sam Hargraves who was also on video call with him.

This isn’t the first time someone from the Hemsworth family has spoken up about the pair’s breakup. Chris Hemsworth’s wife, Elsa Pataky seemingly shaded the Malibu singer when giving an update on how Liam is doing after the split.

“My brother-in-law, well…after a relationship that you’ve dedicated 10 years to, he’s a little bit down, but he’s coping well,” she said. “He’s a strong boy and he deserves the best. I think he deserves much better.”

In another interview, Elsa noted being back in Australia surrounded by family has been helping Liam to feel happy again. “His brother is his best friend, so that’s good. He’s spent some time with us,” she added.
