The elaborate TV shows that we are used to watching every week have turned into any other YouTube vlog channels we are used to. Ellen DeGeneres has also joined the bandwagon of home edition talk shows and we are loving every bit of it.
Ellen DeGeneres’ new episode
On April 14, 2020, our favorite host talked to us while lounging in her living room. The producer Andy Lassner joined the episode as well. Yes, he is the creep you see standing outside the glass window. Social distancing at its finest. Ellen DeGeneres’ plan for the day is to teach her followers how to make a mask at home. So, she follows the instructions given by the CDC in this regard.
Basically, to make the DIY mask, you need a piece of fabric and a coffee filter. Taking her time, she cuts the coffee filter in half. Andy chimes in every now and then, throwing words of discouragement at her. But she is Ellen DeGeneres, so she keeps going despite the odds. Placing the coffee filter within the fabric and giving the whole thing a whole lot of folds, she shows us the end product.
Well, as is obvious, it is pretty big and she just can’t get to tie it at the back of her head. Ellen DeGeneres jokes that it is a good mask if you have a bigger face. After several failed attempts, she gives up and puts on an already made DIY mask by some person far more talented than her.
