A few days ago, Jeff Lowe revealed a new Tiger King episode to be released soon
During a video message for Justin Turner, Jeff Lowe made the announcement about a new episode. Since the release of the documentary series, it has been watched by more than 34 million viewers. Therefore, it was natural that Netflix maintains that hype around the show. People could not be happier about the new Tiger King episode.

On Easter, Netflix finally released an additional episode called ‘The Tiger King and I’
Hosted by Joel McHale, the episode consisted of interviews with Jeff Lowe, John Finlay, John Reinke, Joshua Dial, Saff, Erik Cowie, Rick Kirkman, and Lauren Lowe. In the announcement video, McHale said:
“There’s a documentary series on Netflix called Tiger King. I highly recommend watching all seven episodes. On April 12th, Netflix will release an eighth installment called: The Tiger King and I. It’s an after show hosted by me. I talk to a lot of people involved in the project to see what’s happened in their lives since the release of the series. It’s eye-opening, and hopefully funny. So watch The Tiger King and I, April 12th on Netflix.

The episode is streaming on Netflix right now.
However, fans of the show have expressed their hate towards the new Tiger King episode
Right after the release, strong reactions from fans started coming in. While Netflix expected it to be as huge as the show itself, the idea backfired. Some found it boring and others just hated the format of the episode.
Yep this episode of the tiger king and I was not needed! #boring

According to some fans, new Tiger King episode was just unnecessary and felt like an after-thought.

They also felt that all the people featured in the episode were seeking 5 minutes of fame.

It was so bad that former CNET staff member, Brian Tong also tweeted about it.
The Tiger King and I. New Episode on @Netflix. You’ll watch it because you feel like you have to but save yourself the time. #TigerKing

While people might think it’s bad, it would feel like a closure to watch the new episode. Except Carole Baskin’s ex-husband is still missing and we need to solve that mystery. There’s no closure for that!
