Katie Price reveals why she didn’t do well on Celebrity SAS
Katie Price is one of twelve reality stars in the TV show Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. The show focuses on Ant Middleton, a former soldier and chief instructor in the show. He puts all participants through a series of hardcore SAS training sessions. And then determines who all are up to it and who aren’t.
But Katie, mother to five beautiful children admits that the pressure during the show gets to her sometimes. And this was made worse when she didn’t take adequate time off after her breast implant reduction surgery last year.
In an interview with Mirror UK, Katie said:
“I think a lot of people would know that mentally I am strong, just by my past and what I have been through…”
She continued to say:
‘But it it was just physically my body wasn’t ready for a lot of the things I was put forward to, because that’s just due to my stupidity of going smaller surgically. My only big thing is that someone else had been offered the place instead of me because I feel like I let myself down’.
She continued the interview saying that she was better off without the surgery. The surgery didn’t only take toll on her physically. But mentally as well.
Katie’s take on the interrogators in the show
The reality show star confesses the part in the show where she is faced with interrogators, was one of the toughest.
The interrogators use harsh mental techniques to get in the heads of the recruits. And that part was very testing, Katie Price admits. She said:
‘When you get an interrogator going at you, even thought you know it is fake, although it is a show, it is not supposed to feel like a show. It feels like reality,’
Katie’s positive take after the show
She admits to going through a rough phase mentally and physically during the show. But, now she feels she’s doing much better. And that the show provided a stepping stone for Katie Price to reach this better state in life.
