The celebrity they renovate for is right there along the episode renovating beside them. And for episode one, they chose Brad Pitt! That’s right. Our Oscar winner stud. But, word has it that the man got emotional during the shoot.
Brad Pitt gets emotional during the shoot with the Property Brothers
Brad chooses his longtime make-up artist, Jean Black as the person he’d want to renovate for. Well, Brad Pitt wants the Property Brothers to help him build a brand-new combo guest house, workspace, and storage room, in only three weeks. Well, damn it. We wish we were friends with Brad Pitt.
Throughout the episode, Brad talks about his 30-year long friendship with Jean. He is so candid during the episode that it is adorable. Did you know? Jean has also put makeup on Brad’s butt! Woah there girl. Brad is so precise with everything he wants in the rooms. At one point he says to the brothers:
I’m extremely tactile. In fact, I prefer the design to be more in the materiality than actual decor and decoration. Seeing how the materials relate to each other, and what’s the feeling you get being amongst it.
Well, that is a lot of designing talk coming from the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star. By the end of the renovation. We are truly stunned. And with good reason. The outcome is amazing, as is the usual Property Brothers endings! But, let us not spoil that for you. Even Brad Pitt is emotional with the outcome. He jokes:
Shoot, I’m the guy who’s gonna cry on television.
