She shared the heartbreaking news of her baby’s death in an Instagram post. Kara Keough’s husband Kyle Bosworth and herself will remember Casey forever, says the mother.

On April 6th, our son McCoy Casey Bosworth was born at 3:10 am. He joined our Heavenly Father and will live forever in the hearts of his loving parents, his adoring sister, and those that received his life-saving gifts.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Kara Keough called her baby an “answered prayer”. She also shared a quote from the Bible.

A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come, but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

John 16:20

What is Shoulder Dystocia?

It is a birth injury during which one or both of the baby’s shoulders get stuck inside the mother’s pelvis. The delivery is successful most of the times but Kara Bosworth’s baby couldn’t survive the injury.

What is a Compressed Umbilical Cord?

As the name suggests, the condition occurs because of the flattening of the umbilical cord. The pipe-like structure is the source of Oxygen and nutrients from the mother’s placenta into the baby’s bloodstream.

Kara Keough and Kyle’s baby couldn’t survive the two injuries at the same time and passed away during delivery.
