Toni Braxton doesn’t want a drive-thru wedding

Toni Braxton and boyfriend Birdman are still unclear on the exact date and venue of their wedding. The wedding got postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic. And now the couple is unclear as to when exactly they want to pull it off. Although, Toni has countlessly said she loves Birdman and cannot wait to marry him. But, a simple or plain or a drive-thru wedding isn’t how it’s going to be!

Toni’s stance on the wedding she wants

According to The Grio, Braxton, 52, confirmed at the Rick and Sasha Show that her wedding isn’t going to be anything like a drive-thru wedding event.

What Braxton said on the show:

“We have been going back and forth on wedding dates. We had a great date but then it was getting too big, we didn’t want a big wedding. Then we said, “’OK, we don’t want it too small. Then he said, ‘OK, let’s do the drive-thru.’ I’m like, “We are not doing a drive-thru. I’m not ordering fries after we get married, babe.”

About Toni Braxton and Birdman relationship history

Braxton, who is a winner of seven Grammy Awards has been dating rapper, Birdman since 2016. The couple announced they were engaged in February 2018. Both are parents to young children and would be bringing their families into their marriage as well.

Birdman, whose birth name is Bryan Christopher Williams. He has a son named Bryan Jr. and daughter Bria. Mom Braxton is mother to Denim and Diezel, 17, with ex-husband Keri Lewis.

What Braxton says about the wedding:

“We’ve been trying to figure it out, but we are definitely gonna do it this year”

The singer also confirmed at the Rick and Sasha Show that she is planning to release a new album this year by August. And that her album is still untitled.
