Michelle Money reveals daughter is off ventilator and is recovering
Michelle Money’s daughter, Brielle is finally showing signs of much-needed improvement. And the star of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ can’t thank fans enough for their prayers.
On April 10, 2020, the star posted an update for her followers on Instagram. She told them that finally Brielle’s condition is improving and the doctors have begun taking her off of some medicines.
Brielle, fifteen years old, had a very critical skateboarding accident late last month. She has been in the intensive care unit since then. And doctors had plugged her to life support and ventilator. Her mom, Michelle Money has been posting updates about her daughter’s condition and has been requesting prayers so Brielle can fight this.
The hopeful Instagram update by Michelle Money
The Bachelor star posted this on her Instagram:
“Guess who got extubated today? Brie. You guys, she’s got her neck brace off. She’s off the ventilator. Brielle is also off most of her drugs, though the medical staff is still “weaning her” off some of the medication. She’s on a lot of morphine, but she is a fighter. She’s moving.”
The mom also shares:
“It’s just been so emotional. I’m just so proud of her. Things are going really good.”
According to People, Michelle also spoke emotionally about spending five hours trying to brush her daughter’s hair. Which was smeared in EEG glue and a bit of blood.
Michelle’s ex-husband shares a hopeful message too
Brielle’s father and ‘Michelle Money’s ex-husband also shared a heartfelt post, which reads:
“SO MUCH PROGRESS!!! I do not say this flippantly, your prayers are being heard and felt. Brielle started moving and will raise her eyebrows when ‘yelled’ at or pinched. The medical staff is asking her to squeeze their fingers or move her toes and she will do it most of the time. Her left side is definitely more responsive than her right side. She moves her left hand a lot and is getting some expressions in her face.”
We wish Brielle quick recovery and kudos to mom and dad who’ve been by her side all along especially during the coronavirus pandemic.
