Ronda Rousey Tells WWE Is Fake After Taking Part In It | Angers Fans
One of the WWE rosters is not doing so well in media, Ronda Rousey. The 33-year-old MMA artist spoke up against the top professional wrestling entertainment, even calling fans “f**king ungrateful” in the process. She made an appearance on Wild Ride! With Steve-O podcast to talk about her time in the square ring. According to Rousey, she had an amazing time with female rosters and the company but, she did not like the time investment. Unsurprisingly, this has been an issue for many superstars of the show, who moved on to join other brands in the same niche.
Ronda Rousey Will Only Return Under One Condition
When Rousey was talking about WWE, she used a ‘forbidden phrase’ in the wrestling entertainment business. Chatting with the host, she told that she had fun “running out there and having fake fights“. Unconcerned about whether WWE fans might also be listening, she continued and admitted that she loved the choreography, acting, and theatre. This is super mean for someone who worked with WWE, but is there something going on behind-the-scenes? COnsequently, Rousey’s comments got the attention of WWE’s Nia Jax who lashed out at the MMA star with the following tweet:
Speaking further about how her days spent with WWE, Rousey told:
“If I did all of the live shows, I was only home a day and a half a week. It was just not worth it for my family because we were eliminating all of our expenses and living this lifestyle, we didn’t need it. We didn’t need the money.”
After this, she made the WWE fans a target:
“So it’s just like … what am I doing it for if I’m not being able to spend my time and energy on my family, but instead spending my time and my energy on a bunch of f**king ungrateful fans that don’t even appreciate me?”
The Ronda Rousey told Steve that she is open to a return to the ring only in a part-time capacity. Take a look
Perhaps this is all a setup and Rousey is on her way to turning heel? This is a common move by WWE to respark attention on forgotten storylines.
