As the COVID-19 pandemic takes over the world, there is widespread fear and chaos. And amidst the chaos, there are people working on the front lines, risking the lives of their families and themselves. No, these aren’t superheroes, but they’re nothing short either. These are the doctors and healthcare workers, fighting everyday to make sure we’re safe. From the big shot doctor to the janitor who cleans the hospital, we’re grateful to them all. One of these healthcare workers include Jennifer Stone who played Harper Finkle on the Disney show Wizards Of Waverly Place.

And it turns out, Jennifer isn’t finished spreading her magic around the globe.

Jennifer Stone: Actor Or Nurse?

After leaving the show in 2012, Jennifer Stone divided her time between nursing school and indie films. However, having just finished nursing school the past December enabled her to join the front lines working for COVID-19.

“A very good friend of mine (@maiarawalsh ) pointed out to me that today is #worldhealthday . It is also the day I went from a volunteer, then a student nurse, and now an RN resident,” she captioned an Instagram post. “I just hope to live up to all of the amazing healthcare providers on the front lines now as I get ready to join them.”

We couldn’t be more proud of Jennifer Stone. But personally, I feel honored to have grown up watching such responsible, talented and brave young people.

We thank you for your service, Jennifer. And not just her but every healthcare worker who is fighting day and night tirelessly to make sure we all stay healthy even if it means they have to compromise on their health.
