Brie Larson: 1st Marvel Female Superhero To Have Her Own Film
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is officially moving towards a whole new era. Brie Larson is soon to become the first Marvel female superhero to have her own film. She emerges as Captain Marvel, one of the most fierce heroes in all of space and Earth.
The Story of Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel is destined to hit the screens on 6th March 2019. As Infinity War ended, people could already speculate this one coming. By the end of last movie, Thanos had wiped out half the universe including the likes of Spider Man and Black Panther. In a desperate attempt to save the world, Nick Fury sends a page to the fierce hero Captain Marvel. Apparently, it has been claimed that she will be also lead the next phase of superhero films in the Marvel Universe. And might possibly take over for Captain America or an Iron Man.
Captain Marvel will then go at war with Thanos for the sake of billions of lives. A few months after Captain Marvel, the untitled Avengers 4 will approach theaters. However, fans must remember that this film is set almost more than 20 years back. So, any relations to Infinity War will come as classic Marvel post-credits.
Brie Larson As Captain Marvel
Marvel Universe made the ultimate best choice while casting the Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson for their first female-led solo superhero film. While talking about her character in Captain Marvel, Brie Larson said that she was aggressive, invasive and had a temper. She also said that she was quick to jump into things. And usually did not wait for orders which made her great in battle. But not waiting for orders also was a part of her character flaw. Even though her character is headstrong and reckless, and not known for the best of the decisions, but she has a huge heart and a lot of humanity.
Just like Wonder Woman from 2017, Captain Marvel will also be led by a female director. People are more than just excited for the first female superhero solo film. But Brie Larson was not sure if she could handle such a role. And initially, she considered declining Captain Marvel.
Let’s wait for the movie to hit screens and see if the Marvel Universe could do justice to it.
