If you say that you’re not obsessed with Tiger king, you must be lying. One of the biggest mystery of this year has to be Don Lewis’ disappearance. When Tiger King came out, no one expected to be sucked into this crazy world of big cat owners and their husbands
The most interesting aspect of the show is the disappearance of Carole Baskin’s ex-husband, Don Lewis. Although she and her current husband, Howard, has denied the accusations, everyone believes she fed him to the tigers. While still married to her first husband, Michael Murdock, Baskin began an affair with Don Lewis. According to Lewis’ first wife and daughters, Baskin was after his money. In 1997, he disappeared and was claimed dead in 2002. Apart from his family and Joe Exotic, Tiger King shows many people who accuse Carole Baskin of killing him. The police could not find any clues because they claim that she fed him to the tigers. On the website of Big Cat rescue, Baskin has written a long statement where she denies all accusations. Now Carole Baskin’s ex-boyfriend also has few things to add to this mystery.
Recently, Carole Baskin’s ex-boyfriend came forward with some accusations of his own
Before she married Howard Baskin, she dated a man named Jay Baykal. Since the show was released author Robert Moor has been tweeting about it and has revealed something about Carole Baskin’s ex-boyfriend.
In a similar tweet, he posts a restraining order which Carole Baskin’s ex-boyfriend filed against her. According to the restraining order:
“Her prior husband presumed dead, one day she (Carole) said to me when I asked her ‘what happens if your husband shows up now?’ Her response was, ‘Dead bodies can’t talk’.”
Furthermore, it read:
“Her former husband’s daughter told me she could be dangerous and watch my back.”
Although the petition for this restraining order was denied, we think police should re-open the case. While at it, they should also make a show about it because we need answers!
