The Duchess of Sussex can’t seem to keep herself out of controversy. First, Meghan Markle was under fire for leaving the royal family aka Megxit. She also drew attention from President Trump, who tweeted he wouldn’t ‘pay for their protection’ after Meghan and Harry moved to LA. Now, she is calling the future queen Kate Middleton ‘uptight’.
Meghan Markle ‘insults’ Kate Middleton?
In a DailyMail exclusive, Meghan told her close friends that her farewell tour was bittersweet. Moreover, it only confirmed that she and Prince Harry made the right decision. However, she was happy to see her son Archie amid all this drama. Meghan Markle went on to say that there is ‘no warmth’ in the royal family, as she wants to raise Archie in a house full of ‘laughter and joy and hugs’. The friends said:
It’s still weird to her that no one hugs and that everyone is so uptight, especially Kate. She said it’s obvious that Kate and William do not approve of their choices and that you could cut the tension with a knife. Kate barely even looked at her and their interaction was kept to a bare minimum.
The royal couple is creating a brand?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially stepped down from their royal positions on March 31. However, their decision is proving to be a ‘well-calculated’ one. The couple has all of the opportunities which come being royal, but none of the limitations. Their brand Instagram dubbed @sussexroyal has more than 11.3 million followers. Moreover, Meghan Markle is also narrating a Disney+ documentary on elephants.

Some speculate Meghan keeps quipping about the royal family to stay ‘popular’ and ‘relevant’. The former Suits actress demanded to work with A-list directors only. Apparently, she thinks a majority of the offers she’s receiving are below here. Considering she made the decision to ‘have a normal life’, critics say her behavior is too high-handed. The couple could potentially make millions through contracts and sponsorships of their ‘brand’.
