Formula 1 Billionaire Becomes Father Again at 89

In the world of rich and famous, age is literally just a number. While the age gap between the partners is not a big deal, becoming parents in old age is also very common. Recently, it was announced that Formula 1 billionaire, Bernie Ecclestone will become a dad at 89.


Although he is no longer a part of the group, Formula 1 billionaire, Bernie Ecclestone, formed it in 1974

His business began with the trading of spare parts but led to the world-renowned Formula 1 Group. Apart from Eccelstone, Frank Williams, Colin Chapman, Teddy Mayer, Ken Tyrrell, and Max Mosley were part of the group. Formula 1 billionaire became the chief executive of Formula 1 Constructors Association in 1978. After 43 years, in 2017, Eccelstone was removed as a chief executive of Formula 1 Group after Liberty Media took-over in 2016. At one point, he was also the owner of Queen Park Rangers Football Club. In 2011, Forbes ranked him as the 4th richest man in the UK. Formula 1 billionaire has been married three times and has three daughters.

Recently, it was announced that Bernie Eccelstone will become a father at the age of 8

Eccelstone’s third wife, Fabiana Flosi, is going to have a baby boy and his fourth child. The baby is expected to be born a few weeks before Formula 1 billionaire’s 90th birthday. His oldest daughter, Deborah, is 65 years old and is a grandmother herself. According to sources, Eccelstone does not see the problem of his age and is excited to welcome his first son. He said:

“I don’t see there’s any difference between being 89 and 29. You’ve got the same problems, I suppose. It’s all right.”

While he is 89, the oldest person to become a father was James E. Smith, an American minister, who was 102 years old. Other old-dads include Clint Eastwood, Paul McCartney, Ronnie Wood, Charlie Chaplin, Pablo Picasso, Hugh Hefner and Rod Stewart.
