Tana Mongeau shares the truth about MTV & depression
Tana Mongeau is a 21-year-old American internet personality. 2019 has been a very active year for her. We got to see her getting into headlines and making news about her life. It was also the year she got married to Jake Paul and ended it in the same year as well. This roller-coaster of a year was bound to leave some effect on her. Let’s talk about that.
Tana Mongeau’s recent YouTube video
On March 30, 2020, Tana Mongeau uploaded an hour-long video. In this video, she has talked about a lot of stuff that has happened to her so far. She got fame at such a young age but that came with a price as well. Her own mental health was compromised. Tana Mongeau opened up about her childhood and how she was abused both mentally and physically. Although she made it this far, she is still surprised that she made it in one piece. So are we.
She filmed “Tana turns 21” with MTV last year. While she was filming that, things with her parents were not going so well. It resulted in her taking Xanax in amounts that could have led to her death. And what’s more, she didn’t think that dying would be such a bad thing at that time. Tana Mongeau’s MTV series show her life and story in a way which she said is definitely not real. Managing the whole crazy schedule took too much of her and things on the set were not as cool as portrayed in the series. It seems like she regrets doing the series with MTV as it was asking a lot from her.
