Tom Holland Arrives At Uncharted Movie Set Only To Close It Down
Actor Tom Holland revealed that when he arrived to shoot for Uncharted movie, the production closed down. Not that he was the bad luck, but the coronavirus pandemic forced the movie to pause production, just like it is forcing all of the Hollywood. For Holland, however, the time for Uncharted came on his first day on the set. The Marvel actor is starring in a popular video game franchise, which follows a treasure hunter Nathan Drake. The story tells that he is a descendant of Sir Frances Drake and faces incredible opponents and traps & obstacles to recover gems and precious stones.
Tom Holland Talks About Uncharted
The Uncharted movie is originally set for release in May 2021. But, there was a chance for it push forward due to the pandemic, and it did. The movie will now release in October 2021. Speaking about Uncharted, Tom Holland told that the movie production closed on his first day. He appeared on Instagram Live session with Justin Bieber when he told,
“We showed up for our first day of shooting and they shut us down.”
Unfortunately, we can see this trend throughout Hollywood, and all other entertainment businesses all around the globe. The COVID-19 pandemic has taken over the world in a strong grip. It has slowed down businesses and the world economy as a result. However, better things are coming for all of us, especially those who are Holland fans.
Apart from starring in Uncharted, Tom Holland will also be making a third installment to Marvel’s spiderman version. He will also reunite with the famous Russo brothers to produce Cherry. Moreover, he will also star alongside former Star Wars’ celebrity Daisy Ridley to produce Chaos Walking. However, maybe Uncharted is the most famous title among all these. The videogame is not just popular for its intense and sharp graphics, but also its storyline. The puzzles add to the whole adventure like a cherry on top.
