So you know the ever famous Michael C Hall from Dexter and maybe even from Six Feet Under. The gifted actor is now venturing into the singing realm. He began singing with two other friends last year. But they have now decided to surface on the world forum. Other band members include Peter Yanowitz and Matt Katz-Bohen.

Introducing the band “The Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum”

The singing trio is called “The Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum.” But guess who came up with the band name? It was Katz-Bohen’s daughter! Yes, his daughter came up with this new, youthful name for the band.

Musicians of “The Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum” met on the sets of Broadway. This was when Hedwig and the Angry Inch was playing. And the team hit it off immediately.
And we compel you to watch the video of their new song “Come Talk To Me”. You will be bedazzled by Michael’s voice. Boy, he can sing!!

The band has been in conjunction for a few years after meeting up at Broadway. But they have recently decided to release their debut EP. Which is due to come out on Thursday, April 2nd.

From the looks of all the songs the band have surfaced for their growing followers, it appears they are an experimental group. And have been experimenting with just about everything, from folk to R&B to rock.

All of Michael’s Careers in a nutshell

Of course, Michael C Hall is trying his luck in the music industry. And experimenting with his passion as a musician. It has, nonetheless, been in sight and in his path especially since David Bowie’s musical Lazarus in 2015.

He is still keeping tabs as an actor. Last year he was cast in Netflix’s In the Shadow of The Moon.
