It seems that there are only two things to talk about these days, coronavirus and Tiger King. People are choosing sides and showing loyalties to the various cast members of the Netflix show. Therefore, comedian Nikki Glaser has declared that she is not Team Joe Exotic. In fact, she’s team Erik Cowie.

Best known for her stand-up comedy, Nikki Glaser is also an actress, podcast, radio and television host

At the age of 18, Nikki Glaser started doing stand-up comedy. She has been performing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan, and Last Comic Standing. In 2013, Nikki Glaser hosted a weekly television series called Nikki and Sara Live on MTV. However, it was canceled after two seasons. Apart from that, she has hosted many podcasts like You Had To Be There, We Know Nothing, Danswers, and You Up? with Nikki Glaser.

While talking about her stand-up comedy journey, Nikki Glaser said:

“I remember it. I was a freshman in college and everyone in my dorm took over the cafeteria as like a study hall. I went in there and instead of studying I just looked at them, judged them and tried to think, “What would Sarah Silverman say about these people?” I didn’t know how to write jokes—I just knew the stand-ups I knew. I wrote from the perspective of my favorite stand-ups because I didn’t know what my perspective was yet.”

She also appeared in two of Judd Apatow films, I Feel Pretty and Trainwreck.

After watching Tiger King, she declared that she is Team Joe Exotic

In a tweet, she posted a picture of Erik Cowie of Tiger King, who worked as a head zookeeper on Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park. In the caption, Nikki Glaser wrote:

This guy was my favorite and I hope he’s doing well #tigerking

While Joe Exotic is the protagonist of the story, people have been showing their love for Cowie. In many scenes, we saw his delightful personality as well as his remorse for the tigers killed by Joe. At the end of the series, we saw him drunk and sad after testifying against Joe in court. It is hard not feeling bad for him.

Erik Cowie might be one of the few genuinely good people in this crazy story.
