Is Jamie Lee Curtis Starring In The Mandalorian Season 2?
We heard about Rosario Dawson starring as Ahsoka Tano and now we hear this. The latest rumours of The Mandalorian season 2 suggest that Jamie Lee Curtis might also be joining its cast. Disney’s Star Wars show airs on its newest streaming service Disney+ and is set to launch its season 2 later in Fall 2020. There is already a great deal of excitement about the storyline: The Child’s mysterious past, Moff Gideon’s Darksaber, and Din Djarin’s past. Adding this recent news about the show is just becoming cherries and sprinkles on top.
Jamie Lee Curtis Is Joining The Mandalorian?
Making Star Wars is suggesting that star Jamie Lee Curtis has a role in The Mandalorian Season 2. However, before our readers start jumping, do note that this is merely a rumour right now. There is no official claim about this from the likes of Dave Filoni or anyone else. The only supporting evidence here is that the actor was seen “at the location for the filming of the show”.
Maybe it is nothing because James Cameron’s Avatar 2 is also filming in a nearby location to The Mandalorian. So far the show gathered major highlight when strong evidence of Dawson’s debut in the series started appearing on the Internet. She is most likely to play Anakin Skywalker’s former Jedi padawan, Ahsoka Tano. However, we do not know how much lengthier will her role be for the series starring Gina Carano and Pedro Pascal. She may be there for an episode only, or probably a major part of the storyline. However, now we can attach Lee Curtis’ name with these rumours as well.
The source also tells that “there were multiple times she was around and I think she has a role in the series”. The Mandalorian series has always kept secrets from its audience. I mean, they filmed the entire debut season without even revealing a glimpse of The Child, and once they introduced him he broke the Internet. Perhaps something is stirring behind closed doors?
