Since its release last week, the documentary series, Tiger King, has been on everyone’s mind. So much so that Hollywood actors, Dax Shepard and Edward Norton are fighting over who should play Joe Exotic.

Based on big-cat enthusiasts, Tiger King is the most shocking thing to watch on Netflix right now

The moment you hit play, Tiger King takes you on a ride which will shock you, upset you and blow your mind. While the subject matter is big-cat ownership in the US, all the people involved in this business seem to be from another planet. From a murder mystery to a gay throuple, from a suicide to a court trial, Tiger King has it all, it covers all genres. Maybe this the reason why it has become such a popular show. There are already rumors of a fictional adaption and it seems like Kate McKinnon has already been tapped to play Carole Baskin.

Such is the charisma of Joe Exotic that Hollywood’s A-listers are fighting to play him in a film

Not only the general public, but celebrities are also binge-watching Tiger King. That is why Dax Shepard and Edward Norton has come out in the open to settle, once and for all, who will play Joe Exotic. Recently, Dax Shepard expressed his interest in playing the protagonist Joe Exotic. In a tweet, he wrote:

If I don’t get cast as Joe Exotic in the eventual biopic, Hollywood is broken.

In response to that, Edward Norton replied:

Um, step aside, pal. You’re way too young and buff and you know it. You could probably pull off Maldonado still, actually. Wouldn’t that be fun?

After that, several other celebrities joined the conversation regarding Joe Exotic’s casting. Zach Braff wrote:

I heard a rumor he has a Jewish twin brother that was cut out of the series.

Justin Long has his views to share on Joe Exotic’s show:

In response to that, Dax Shepard wrote:

Great casting. And Channing Tatum as my toothless first husband.

All of these names seem a perfect choice, especially for Joe Exotic. Although the details about the fictional adaption of the show are not out, there are rumors. Netflix has a pattern to make a fictional version of their super-hit documentaries.
