Behind the scenes, photos emerge for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker showing Daisy Ridley in her final Rey Skywalker scene. This is where Rey heads over to Tatooine to visit, what once used to be, home for Anakin Skywalker. When a random stranger asks her who she was she replies that she is a Skywalker, after which credits start rolling. Star Wars fans were curious about how Rey’s story would end, taking her from a lonely scavenger in Jakku to a powerful Jedi. While her origin and her use of the Force sparked great debates, the Skywalker Saga has ended and it is time to move on.

Star Wars’ Daisy Ridley In Behind-The-Scenes

In Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the movie told that Rey Skywalker was merely a daughter to drunken parents and that was it. However, things completely turned around when in Episode IX we discovered that she is actually a granddaughter of one of the powerful Sith Lords, Emperor Palpatine or Darth Sidious. People praised this reveal, up to the point where she denounced her lineage, taking on the name of Skywalker instead. This happened in Tatooine, the very final moments of the movie and new trilogy.
