The La Liga club pays tribute

The Atletico Madrid club was very quick to post a heartfelt tribute to the late Christian Minchola:

A popular Atletci player Koke was heartbroken over Christian Minchola’s death as well:

Is the cause of death coronavirus?

Christian Minchola’s cause of death is still something that we are not sure of. Since there has been a surge of coronavirus cases globally and the number of deaths, it could be a possibility that Christian passed away from Coronavirus. There are over 70 thousand confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Spain currently, where Minchola has died. And there is also evidence that the people below 18 are also vulnerable to this viral disease.

That is still speculation and there is no evidence of this.
