Hayley Kiyoko Talks About Taylor Swift, Kehlani and Demi Lovato
Hayley Kiyoko has opened up at the 2018 MTV VMAs about working with Taylor Swift and Kehlani. Not just that, but she also talked about her friend Demi Lovato who was recently release from the hospital following her drug overdose.
In early August, Hayley Kiyoko performed Curious with Taylor Swift on stage in Foxborough. While revealing how they prepared for the gig, Hayley shared that it was an amazing experience. She revealed that Taylor Swift asked her if it was her first time. And Hayley Kiyoko replied in the affirmative adding that it was not normal. Even when she thought that it was not normal considering Swift is a superstar, it was an incredible experience. Hayley Kiyoko further added that Taylor Swift is a very kind and smart person.
Hayley Kiyoko has previously worked with popular singer Kehlani as well. They collaborated for their hit single What I Need. And even costarred in its gay music video. Kehlani and Hayley Kiyoko immediately hit it off together. The queer pop stars bonded well. Kehlani has shared that meeting Kiyoko was not just a blessing. But working with her helped her build something that can be an inspiration to many people. The feelings shared by Kehlani are totally mutual. Even at the MTV VMA ceremony, Hayley Kiyoko shared that she would love to collaborate with Kehlani again. And that she really loves her and has the feeling that they will continue to be friends forever.
Hayley Kiyoko also mentioned her friend Demi Lovato. She shared that she has not heard from her following her overdose. But she knows that Demi Lovato is a fighter so she will be fine. And that it was normal to have compassion for someone who is struggling so hard. With Aretha Franklin‘s death, life has become even more important and special. So, Hayley Kiyoko wished the best for Demi Lovato. And knew that she will get better.
