Because CW’s ‘The Flash’ and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ will be taking a two-week break and are supposedly airing on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. If or not ‘Batwoman’ and ‘Supergirl’ is also going on a two-week hiatus is unclear for now.
Melissa Benoist, a star of the series is going on a directorial debut with the upcoming episode “Deus Lex Machina”. The episode revolves around Lex who tries to bond with his sister Lena. And at the same time, it also sets Supergirl against Leviathan.
In the last episode, Lena finds out about Kara being Supergirl. And this draws a wedge between the two close-knit friends. The two haven’t reconciled their friendship yet. And to make matters worse, Lex is plotting a diabolical plan to further them apart. However, Lena wants to save humanity in the true sense. So maybe there’s hope for Lena and Kara after all!
Supergirl’s impending plot
Katie McGrath (who plays Lena) talks to TV Guide about their reconciliation:
“I think the writers are very smart, and I think they have a very clear, articulated plan about what they’re doing. And I would hate to think that you’re not going to get Kara and Lena back as they were before. And I think fundamentally Lena is still a very good person, and I think she does just miss her friends.”
Katie also continued to say, how both miss each other’s company and are willing to reconcile given the chance:
“If Lena felt that Kara couldn’t betray her again, I think Lena would do anything to get that friendship back. I think the illustration of that is how hurt she was. You couldn’t feel that amount of hurt if you didn’t actually care.”
