Kim’s SKIMS giving back during coronavirus outbreak
‘Keeping Up With the Kardashian’ star, Kim Kardashian has announced she will be restocking the popular loungewear. And the proceeds will go to relief groups of the COVID-19 outbreak.
The mega star’s famous clothing brand announced it has restocked its’ best-selling Cotton Collection on March 23, 2020. And that twenty percent of the sales will go to Baby2Baby’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Program. They help children who live in poverty.
Statement by SKIMS read:
“In light of the current health crisis Opens in a new Window., Baby2Baby has been working around the clock providing children and families impacted by COVID-19 the items they need to survive. Over the last five days, Baby2Baby Opens in a new Window has distributed over 1.3 million items including diapers, formula, hygiene, clothing, blankets and more.”
The audacious loungewear comes in a large variety. It also comes in multiple colors. From beige to white to black to lavender, etc. the collection includes underwear, leggings, and cropped tank tops.
However, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians influencer has been accused of using the pandemic as a tool to promote sales of her loungewear, SKIMS.
The reality show star has also been under self-isolation. Looks like during her time at home she’s been skimming through her phone gallery and posting some photos to her Instagram. Recently she added a photo of her sister Kourtney and captioning it saying how much she misses her sisters.
Her exact words were:
“Miss my sisters but we are all social distancing and staying away from each other all separately self-quarantined. It’s hard but we have to do this for our safety and for everyone else’s. PLEASE do not ignore the severity of the warnings to stay inside to stop the spread of this virus. We will all get through this!
