ODAAT has triumphantly transitioned from digital to broadcast media after an unceremonious Netflix cancellation. Additionally, its comedic beats resonate better with commercial interruption. Thankfully enough, One Day At A Time Season 4 isn’t consuming itself into bringing down its former home. (where you can still binge on the show’s 3 previous seasons).. Although Alex (Marcel Ruiz) does lament that there is ‘nothing good on Netflix anymore’, the show soon accelerates to discuss more important issues. Kellett was also smart enough to throw in a Ray Romano cameo into the first episode of her show’s new season. There is a tangible realization of a tricky plot-line. But the cast soothes everything into the comforts of a multi-camera sitcom.
ODAAT Season 4 Plot And Story
For now, ODAAT season 4 is primarily exploring the sexuality and interests of its lead cast. Penelope, for instance, is on a man-hunt, Lydia is processing cross-generational sex gaps, while Elena is worried about her relationship with Syd. But what sets One Day At A Time Season 4 apart from TV’s conventional romanticism, is the daring bon mot the show transpires during its narrative.
The central themes are also still intact. Penelope is a strong-headed feminist, but as an added novelty she doesn’t find ‘looking for a man’ defiant to her social cause. For now, the show bosses have confirmed that the COVID-19 is bound to hit ODAAT production soon. But luckily for its fans, its the last seven episodes of the season that are in trouble. Until then, the show is all geared up for a weekly 9.30 pm run on PopTV every Tuesday. And even after that, there will be rigorous arrangements to complete the season order.
