Unlike Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu, Quibi will make content only to be viewed on mobile phones

Founded in 2018 by Jeffery Katzenberg, Quibi will launch in April this year. This short-form video platform will be making content only for mobile phones. While the target audience is the younger generation, the content can be viewed by anyone. Unlike other streaming websites like Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu, Quibi’s content will consist of short episodes of 10 or 15 minutes. Whether it’s a film or series, the length of the episodes will be reduced. Some of Quibi’s original content includes ‘Chrissy’s Court’, ‘Spielberg’s After Dark’, ‘Kill the Efrons’, ‘Fierce Queens’, and ‘Frat Boy Genius’.

Recently, they released the trailer of Sophie Turner’s ‘Survive’

Sophie turner’s ‘Survive’ is a thriller series for Quibi. This is also the first series with an A-list celebrity for Quibi. According to the trailer of Sophie Turner’s ‘Survive’, the ‘Game of Thrones’ star will fight wolves, battle against the weather and do everything to stay alive. Other than her, the series stars ‘Straight Outta Compton’ star, Corey Hawkins. The story revolves around Jane and Paul who embark on a journey of survival after getting through a plane crash. After that, they both encounter many difficulties and try to get to a safer place. Not only do they have to fight wolves in ‘Survive’, but the conditions of the weather are also against them. Before getting on the plane, Jane is seen leaving a recovery center. This only means added stress for Sophie Turner’s character.

While talking about her character, Turner said:

“I couldn’t be more honored to portray the role of Jane in Survive for Quibi. She’s a complex character fighting against the odds to not only save her life, but to also find her own source of strength and courage. I only hope this can impact anyone struggling with self-worth to understand they are braver than they know and to seek the support they need.”

Although we are looking forward to Sophie Turner’s ‘Survive’, it looked a bit similar to Kate Winslet and Idris Elba starrer, ‘The Mountain Between Us’.
