It seems like Drake has taken over the official job of dissing people this summer. First, he went after rapper Pusha T. But now he has attacked his producer Kanye West himself. And the tension between them seems to still be brewing.

During a performance on Sunday, Drake stopped at Chicago’s United Center for his Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour. While singing his 2015 single Know Yourself, Drake altered the lyrics to throw a shot at Kanye West. Instead of rapping the original lyrics that say ‘Then Kanye Dropped’, Drake switched it to ‘Then Kanye Flopped.’ To make the situation worse, Drake was performing in Kanye West’s hometown.

Undoubtedly, fans noticed the diss and caught it on the videos for the show. And they shared it’s modified version on social media without much hesitation.

It seems like Drake made a reference to Kanye West‘s recent album Ye which debuted on 1st June. The album sold 208,000 units just in its first week. It also landed on the No. 1 at US Billboard 200. Two singles from the album even stayed in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. Later that same month, Drake dropped his own album Scorpion. It also made it to the No. 1 spot on the US Billboard 200. But Drake sold around 335,000 album units. Drake’s album was record-setting in terms of success. Not only did all 25 songs stay in the Top 10 for Billboard Hot 100, but 3 of them even made it to Number 1. ‘In My Feelings‘ by Drake was a part of the three that reached to the top.

According to multiple reports, the subtle diss from Drake drew certain boos from the crowd at Chicago.

Previously, Drake got involved in something similar with Pusha T. It became one of the most vicious rap feuds of recent times. It began with Pusha T releasing his latest album Daytona. One particular song called out to Drake accusing him of using a ghostwriter. Even when that claim has lived with Drake for a long time, he refused to take the insult. Drake dropped a response track lobbing numerous insults for Pusha T. Later, the two got involved in a social media spat.

Kanye West and  wife Kim Kardashian have still not commented on Drake’s attempt to diss.
