First Of The Tonight Show: Home Edition
Amidst the global pandemic of COVID-19, everyone has been self isolating at home. That includes actors, daily wage workers, teachers. Basically people of all kinds of professions. Even talk show hosts. Thus, we can imagine how hard it must be to earn a living. But that didn’t seem like a problem for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The Tonight Show: Home Edition
Jimmy Fallon took The Tonight Show home with him as he self isolated with his wife and kids. Uploading the videos of his home edition of the show, Fallon recruited his wife as the cameraman and kids as appearing guests.
Shooting from a random room in his house, he starts by introducing his family and wishes everyone a happy St. Patrick’s Day. He then asks his daughter to make him a drawing and she hilariously says no. You know what, it’s not as fun when I write it so why don’t you check out the first episode of the home edition of The Tonight Show here?
The aim of The Tonight Show: Home Edition is to give the audience some kind of content every night. Jimmy will mix things up a bit and have guests on over via video chat but the aim remains the same. The show must go on. Especially since nobody in the world knows how long this pandemic is gonna stay for. So we should best be prepared for it.
Every night on the show, Jimmy is gonna talk about a different charity and what they’re doing for the people. The charity for this particular show was FeedingAmerica.org, which is a United States based nonprofit hunger relief organization. Especially in times like these when people are out of work or inside with no access to food, organizations like Feeding America have 200 food banks nationwide to provide for the people.
Jimmy reads out a hilarious monologue, performs a song and more in his home edition of The Tonight Show. Give it a watch.
