Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson Feeling Better Recovering From Coronavirus
Actor Tom Hanks said that he and wife Rita Wilson are feeling better every day following their coronavirus diagnosis. It was almost a week ago when the stars announced testing positive for the new virus pandemic. Now, Hanks’ sister, Sandra Hanks Benoiton has told that the couple is feeling better. She revealed that although the couple has been discharged from a hospital in Australia’s Queensland, they are still not feeling great.

Speaking to People, sister Sandra talked about his brother’s recovery process from the coronavirus.
“Tom [Hanks] and Rita [Wilson] are doing very well and continue to recover. Their recovery is very much on course for healthy adults with this virus. They are feeling Better each day.”
Last week Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson tested positive for the COVID-19 outbreak which has claimed thousands of lives around the globe. WHO has already termed the virus as a pandemic, which has alerted most governments around the globe. With Europe becoming the new epicenter of the virus, Italy suffers the most. Its death tolls have crossed China’s, 4000 people with several thousand more cases awaiting recovery.
Speaking about his and Rita Wilson’s diagnosis, Hanks told that they felt a bit tired, like they had a cold, along with body aches.
“Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the coronavirus and were found to be positive.”
Tom Hanks was working on a new movie by Baz Luhrmann, Elvis Presley biopic. After the actor announced his test result, the movie production closed down too. Hanks has a key role in the movie, making it impossible to continue production. After discharge from the hospital, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson will now work on full recovery by self-isolation. The couple will stay in Australia till they recover again.
The two are taking all of this positively, even calling for fans to contribute to a quarantine playlist they are creating.
Update: The couple is now doing better and returning home.
